Mars Doula

Educate. Support. Nurture.

My name is Wendolyn, I also go by Wendy. I’m a trained doula through the National Black Doulas Association since 2021. I also offer postpartum support, childcare, overnight assistance, belly binding, and placenta encapsulation. I am bilingual, dominating both Spanish and English. I was raised in East Orlando and now reside in South Miami. My great-grandmother was a midwife in the Dominican Republic; I fully understand how ancestral gifts follow and guide me in what I do daily.

I have always been a doula to my friends and family without a title, as well as a babysitter and confidant. Now my focus is on being more knowledgeable about this path and understanding how to serve my clients on all levels. I do not have children of my own, thus allows me more time for my clients and their families. I do have three godchildren and a plethora of nieces and nephews that I love and care for.

The goal at hand is to make sure you have a beautiful, supported, healthy pregnancy and birth if you choose me as your birth doula or for extra assistance post-birth. Preparation is everything. I’d like to be considered at some point, your best friend for everything baby and mom. I will educate you, advocate for you and give you the best options.

A happy, supported, and relaxed mom makes for a smoother, brighter birth and postpartum journey. I will listen to everything you have to say and fulfill all of your wishes during your time. I am a believer in self-love, manifestation, and confidence. You bring about what you speak about. If your intuition is strong, you are already two steps ahead of it all. I was born to serve, I enjoy facilitating things for others. I am very hands-on with my assistance in birth work and postpartum attention. I am so grateful for the work that I do; all the support, love, and safety I grant moms and their families are priceless and truly my calling.
